Born and raised in Queens, NY, Shawn Winkler discovered his love of metal by age 11, and has been a die-hard fan ever since. Despite brain damage from years of headbanging, he graduated from the Institute of Audio Research and embraced the world of satellite radio, where he went from intern to Liquid Metal DJ.
Scotty C. started playing guitar at an early age but quickly realized he sucked and switched to drums. He got really drunk one night in college, wandered into his college radio station and got his own show. Now he blasts the heaviest music on or off the planet at SiriusXM and in his band, Downfall.
