Kesha Stops by SiriusXM Hits 1 to Introduce Her New Album, ‘High Road’
The singer-songwriter dove in to her creative process, favorite pizza toppings, and more.
In case you missed it, Kesha’s highly anticipated and buzzed-about new album, “High Road,” finally dropped today.
As the singer’s fourth studio album, “High Road” is already being praised for its blend of candid present-day emotion and hard-partying essence of the Kesha we all fell in love with 10 years ago. And while she may not be singing about brushing her teeth with a bottle of Jack anymore (for those of us who remember “Tik Tok” before it was a slightly dizzying social platform), the album still features plenty of moments that feel like you’re leaving for the night and not coming back.
To celebrate, Kesha stopped by SiriusXM Hits 1 to dish on everything from receiving divine songwriting inspiration in the form of having the same shoes as Elton John to whether or not she’s actually dating everyone’s favorite historical document bandit, Nic Cage.
And for a tracklist that includes the groovy tune “BFF” (featuring Wrabel), it’s only right that Kesha play the aptly-named “BFF Speed Round” to get up-close-and-personal with hosts Symon and Tony Fly.
