Hear insightful political commentary & more on Michael Smerconish’s new podcasts
Check out the all-new ‘The Smerconish Podcast’ and ‘Book Club with Michael Smerconish.’
This summer, add two informative and topical podcasts from host Michael Smerconish to your listening rotation. The Smerconish Podcast features his thoughts on the key issues of the day, while Book Club with Michael Smerconish will spotlight discussions with authors about a wide range of subjects. Listeners can access them on the SiriusXM App, Pandora, Stitcher, and wherever they find their podcasts.
His SiriusXM show, The Michael Smerconish Program, airs on the bipartisan P.O.T.U.S. Politics (Ch. 124) channel weekdays from 9 to 12pm ET. Each day, Smerconish hosts spirited discussions about government, politics, current events, culture, and beyond, all without a predictable left-right bias. The most poignant moments from each show are now available each day as a podcast, whether it’s his opening commentary about a controversial topic, a deep-thought interview with newsmakers, insights from listeners’ calls, or more.
His second podcast, Book Club with Michael Smerconish, will include top interviews with authors as they dive deep into everything from politics to memoirs, social and economic class issues, personal finance, the military, decision-making, and sports.
Michael Smerconish is a lawyer turned veteran political commentator who hosts programs on both SiriusXM and CNN. He’s also a weekly contributing columnist to The Philadelphia Inquirer’s Sunday Currents section, a public speaker, and an author who has worked in the media industry for three decades. His latest book (released in 2018), Clowns to the Left of Me, Jokers to the Right: American Life in Columns, is a compilation of a selection of the newspaper columns he published in the first 15 years following 9/11. In addition to his SiriusXM program, he hosts Smerconish each Saturday at 9am ET on CNN. The show can also be heard on SiriusXM’s CNN Simulcast (Ch. 116).
