Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Darkness on the Edge of Town’ turns 40 on E Street Radio!

SiriusXM’s E Street Radio (Ch. 20) commemorates the 40th anniversary of Bruce Springsteen’s Darkness of the Edge of Town, released June 2, 1978, with a full week of special programming now through Sunday, June 3.

Here’s what you can look forward to hearing:

40 Years of Darkness: Hosts Dave Marsh and Jim Rotolo take listeners track-by-track through the Darkness on the Edge of Town album.

Airs: Friday 6/1 4pm ET, & Saturday 6/2 12am and 8am ET

Cover Me: Nick Masi hosts this special episode featuring all Darkness on the Edge of Town covers. Expect to hear covers such as Alabama Shakes’ Adam Raised A Cain (Live) and Lucinda Williams’ Factory (Live).

Darkness on the Edge of Your Town: Hear a replay of Springsteen’s SiriusXM Town Hall, which was conceived as a forum for Bruce to discuss The Promise: The Darkness on the Edge of Town Story.
