Prog-rock pioneer Greg Lake, founding member of King Crimson and Emerson, Lake & Palmer, died Tuesday at 69 years old after “a long and stubborn battle with cancer,” his manager wrote on Facebook. Around this time of year, you’ll also remember Lake’s solo hit, 1975’s I Believe in Father Christmas.
