If you purchased a new vehicle with factory-installed SiriusXM or a pre-owned (or certified pre-owned) vehicle that the dealer told you came with a trial:
Your trial should be active at the time of purchase. If your radio isn’t on, or not receiving all the appropriate channels, simply find your Radio ID and request a refresh signal.
If you purchased a vehicle with no information about a trial:
If your satellite radio isn’t on, you can try to request a refresh signal. If that doesn’t work, you can start a new trial.
Please note: When receiving a refresh signal, your radio needs to be powered on and tuned to Channel 184 for Sirius radios or Channel 1 for XM and SiriusXM radios. Also, be sure your antenna has a clear view of the sky before sending a refresh signal. To verify your signal, simply tune to Channel 4. If you hear audio, no further steps are required.
