Dr. John Carlos Demands The Olympics Be Hosted On The Continent Of Africa

Olympian and activist Dr. John Carlos: "You look at the rings, and one of the major rings in that Olympic Circle, is that black circle uniting all the other coaches and countries together. Why is that England has had the Olympics two times, United States has had it three times, you know, China has had it, you know, Japan has got it another two times now. And what happened with the continent of Africa? What happened to them? I've never seen them host the Olympic Games...Many, many people of color have held those rings up throughout the world. I think it's time that we start looking at that, and pressing the International Olympic Committee to open its arms a little more and be a little more hospitable to the entire world."
