On The Players’ Point, we’re taking football fans closer to the action than ever before with a new show hosted entirely by active NFL players providing their perspective on the game as they break down the league’s biggest stories.

Miami Dolphins fullback Alec Ingold, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Allen Robinson, and veteran free-agent tight end Colin Thompson serve as rotating hosts on The Players’ Point.

Each week, two of the pros — all former participants in the NFL’s Broadcasting and Media Workshop — will team up to conduct interviews, drive the weekly conversation, and provide their unique perspectives on everything happening around the league.

The combined NFL on-field experience between the trio spans nearly two decades.

Get to know the hosts

Alec Ingold

Ingold is in his second season with Miami after three years with the Raiders, whom he signed with as an undrafted free agent in 2019. The 27-year-old is also the Dolphins’ nominee for the 2023 Water Payton NFL Man of the Year Award.

Allen Robinson

Robinson, traded to Pittsburgh this past offseason after one year with the Los Angeles Rams, was a 2014 second-round draft pick and spent four seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars (2014-2017) and Chicago Bears (2018-2021). He earned a Pro Bowl nod in 2015 behind a career-high 1,400 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns, and he has tallied 43 career TDs across his 10 NFL seasons.

Colin Thompson

Thompson played college football at Temple and Florida. He appeared in 26 games for the Carolina Panthers across the 2020 and 2021 seasons and was with the Minnesota Vikings during the 2023 preseason.
