“But again, [Dalton Kincaid] just knows his spots. He’s very fluid in and out of cuts. He catches the ball from his body very well.”

Discussing the Bills’ young talent, Josh Allen praised Dalton Kincaid, the drafted TE, and O’Cyrus Torrence, a rookie OL with a lot potential. He also expressed admiration for the interior linemen Ryan Bates and Connor McGovern.

“They’re doing a great job. Again, knowing their stuff, [Kincaid] comes in, man, and I missed him on a touchdown today where if I just put some mark on it, it’s a lapper,” said Allen. “But again, he just knows his spots. He’s very fluid in and out of cuts. He catches the ball from his body very well.”

“When you talk about [Torrence], a guy that’s a big mauler once he gets his hands on you, you know, you’re not going anywhere and it’s exciting to see him getting worked in with the ones and seeing what he can do,” said Allen. “But I love the interior guys that we have right now that are competing when you talk about [McGovern] and [Bates]. So, really love what we’re doing.”

Allen also discussed the team’s running game, expressing confidence in the abilities of running backs James Cook, Latavius Murray, and Damien Harris. He praised their strength and speed, emphasizing their potential to break tackles and gain significant yardage.

“[Cook is] going to take a large portion of the carries and in the pass game, he’s going to be kind of a dual threat guy for us,” said Allen. “When we talk about [Murray] and [Harris], guys that, you know, short yardage running backs. Guys that can lower their pads and lay the boom and not be taken down by one defender, but I think they both kind of have sneaky speed that not a lot of people give them credit for.”

As the interview focused on the defensive unit, Josh Allen emphasized the team’s quality pass rushers and their potential impact on the game. He highlighted the team’s depth and versatility, particularly praising the addition of Leonard Floyd and the return of Shaq Lawson.

“I think when you look at some of the pass rushers that we added too with Leonard Floyd and obviously, hopefully [Von Miller] gets back sooner rather than later,” said Allen. “But Greg Rousseau coming into his own, [A.J. Epenesa] and [Boogie Basham] coming into their own. Obviously bringing a guy like [Shaq Lawson] back interior wise, we got [Ed Oliver], [Poona Ford], [DaQuan Jones], Tim Settle, Jordan Phillips when he gets back. It’s exciting to think about the production that those guys can have when they’re all healthy and on the field together.”
