Selena first teased fans with with a cryptic website called Single Soon? and posters that had a phone number they could call to hear a message (possibly recorded by Selena’s little sister Gracie) that said, “Never worry about boyfriends at all.”

Now, she’s revealed that she’s tiding listeners over with a song titled “Single Soon,” out August 25, while they wait for her third studio album to drop — her first since 2020’s Rare.

“Y’all have been asking for new music for a while,” Selena wrote on social media. “Since I’m not quite done with SG3, I wanted to put out a fun little song I wrote a while back that’s perfect for the end of summer.”

While Selena appears to be looking ahead in her new music, Miley is taking a more nostalgic approach. After a few days of social media posts containing the cryptic lyrics “I know I used to be crazy / I know I used to be fun / You say I used to be wild / I say I used to be young,” she announced her newest single will also drop August 25.

Miley will be releasing “Used To Be Young” in conjunction with Endless Summer Vacation: Continued (Backyard Sessions), a reimagined version of the Disney+ special. Airing on ABC on August 24 at 10pm ET and available on Hulu the next day, the special now features a new interview and music from Endless Summer Vacation the album.

Describing the addition to Endless Summer Vacation: Continued (Backyard Sessions) as “a retrospective interview sharing stories about the first 30 years of my life in honor of U2BY,” Miley also dedicated the new song to her loyal fans. “I love YOU for loving every version of ME,” she shared.
