Reneé Rapp returned to “The Morning Mash Up” on SiriusXM Hits 1 (Ch. 2) to talk about her upcoming album (“BITE ME”), tour, and spiders.
During her conversation, the singer and actress recalled “freaking out” after seeing a Black Widow spider while she was high on mushrooms. Reneé told hosts Ryan, Nicole, and Stanley T that she tried spraying Raid on it and had to call her girlfriend, British singer-songwriter Towa Bird, who helped her calm down.
Reneé also shared how “BITE ME,” due out on August 1, is a departure from her previous music, particularly because she was happy while writing it.
“Typically I’m a ballad girl,” the “Mad” singer said. “A lot of the album is less ballady and more attitude-filled – a change-up from I usually do. I’m just not sad, so I don’t want to right anything sad.”
