Ozzy Osbourne Denies Retirement Rumors Ahead of His No More Tours 2 Tour
“I am not retiring. I am just not doing tours anymore,” he said on Ozzy’s Boneyard.
Ozzy Osbourne has spent much of the last 50 years on the road, both with Black Sabbath and as a solo artist. This spring, he embarks on his final trek around the globe, which he dubbed the No More Tours 2 Tour — a play on his 1992 retirement tour, but for real this time.
Speaking with SiriusXM host Jose Mangin on Osbourne’s exclusive SiriusXM channel, Ozzy’s Boneyard, Ozzy wanted to make something perfectly clear: “I am not retiring. I am just not doing tours anymore,” he said.
During the interview, Mangin asked Ozzy about the highlights and lowlights of life on the road, how it felt to perform the final Black Sabbath show in his hometown of Birmingham, U.K., and his favorite thing about Florida, since he and his son, Jack Osbourne, will be filming “Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour” there ahead of a few rock festivals.
“It used to be cocaine,” Ozzy joked about the Sunshine State.
