Liam Payne Teases Debut Solo Single ‘Strip That Down’ and Calls Cheryl Cole His Wife
Payne stopped by the “Morning Mash Up” to talk about his first solo single post One Direction.

Sorry, ladies, Liam Payne is officially off the market.
Sure, the former One Direction crooner has been seeing Cheryl Cole (whom he first met when she judged “The X-Factor”) since last year, and the couple shares a baby boy, adorably named Bear Grey. But during a Celebrity Session with the “Morning Mash Up” on Tuesday, Payne referred to Cole as “the Mrs.,” suggesting the two secretly wed.
It all started with the singer describing his greasy guilty pleasure after getting buff for a photo shoot.
“Did you move to LA just for the In-N-Out Burger?” host Ryan Sampson asked.
“Yeah, exactly,” Payne joked. “I left my wife and child at home, and I was straight out to In-N-Out Burger.”
But back to the reason for his visit: Payne teased his first solo single, “Strip That Down,” and revealed his pal Ed Sheeran helped pen the sexy, R&B-influenced song featuring Migos rapper Quavo.
