After teaming up with Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker on “Dracula,” JENNIE is already hinting that another collaboration could be on the way.
Speaking with Davis Burleson backstage at Lollapalooza on SiriusXM Hits 1, the BLACKPINK star reflected on the success of the song and the creative connection she formed with Kevin.
“I cannot thank Kevin enough for having me jump on this track,” JENNIE said. “It was so meaningful to get to know Kevin through this song.” She added, “Maybe more with me and Kevin.”
During the interview, JENNIE also opened up about the inspiration behind her latest single, “Less Than a Lover.”
“I actually wrote the song not so long ago, just thinking about this summer and how we all maybe want a little less than a lover this summer,” she said.
Plus, JENNIE shared that making eye contact with fans during her set is one of her favorite parts of performing, praised Chicago as one of her favorite festival cities, revealed she’s obsessed with capybaras, and teased that her next musical chapter will reflect an even more personal side of her life and experiences.
