Jack Antonoff Gets Candid About Wedding Chaos and Bruce Springsteen Friendship
The Bleachers frontman recently sat down with “The Morning Mash Up” crew on SiriusXM Hits 1.
Jack Antonoff stopped by SiriusXM Hits 1’s “The Morning Mash Up,” where he spoke with hosts Nicole Ryan, Ryan Sampson, and Stanley T about everything from the unexpected chaos surrounding his wedding to his longtime friendship with Bruce Springsteen.

Jack Antonoff’s ‘Dipsh*t Palooza’ at His Wedding
During the conversation, the Bleachers frontman, who recently married actress Margaret Qualley, reflected on the different types of attention that come with success, especially when it spills into personal moments like his wedding day. What started as a joyful celebration also drew a crowd outside, prompting Jack to jokingly refer to the scene as “dipsh*t palooza.”
“There’s the people who love your music — those are the best people,” he explained. “Then there are people who are just curious about what it’s like to do what you do… and then there’s the ‘dipsh*t palooza,’ which is like the vultures.”
Despite the chaos, Jack said there was something almost poetic about the experience, noting that those outside the celebration weren’t the fans who truly connect with his music. “Those people are transient,” he said. “We didn’t even know they were there.”

The conversation also turned to Jack’s deep connection with fellow New Jersey native Bruce Springsteen, whom he described as both a mentor and a close friend.
“He gets it and has been a dear friend for a long time — a great inspiration for even longer,” Jack shared.
The two collaborated on the song “Chinatown,” a track Jack wrote about leaving New York City and returning to New Jersey. Having Bruce lend his voice to the song’s final chorus made the moment especially meaningful.
“When we get to that part, I hear him,” Jack said. “He’s just an incredible person. If I’m ever weary of something or not sure what to do, he has incredible sage wisdom.”
Jack also weighed in on Jeremy Allen White’s portrayal of Bruce in “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere,” praising the performance and the film’s approach to storytelling.
“Beautiful,” he said. “I love that the movie was about depression. It wasn’t about sensationalizing anything… it’s so much more interesting to see what a person is going through.”
