Hasan Piker Says Young People Must ‘Force’ Politicians to Listen

During the wide-ranging conversation, Hasan discussed growing frustration among young voters, particularly around Gaza, labor rights, and what he described as a disconnect between political leadership and public opinion. He argued that younger generations need to “force” politicians to listen through organizing, labor action, and sustained public pressure.
“We have a real opportunity here,” Hasan said, reminding audiences that many workplace protections Americans now take for granted came from organized labor movements.
