During a recent interview on SiriusXM Hits 1, special guest Damiano David opened up about creating his debut solo album, “Funny Little Fears” (out May 16), while maintaining relationships with his family, friends, and girlfriend, Dove Cameron.

“I’m already saying [I did a good job] to myself because the more I listen back to the music, the more I love it,” Damiano said, “and I’m doing it without completely sacrificing my personal life.”

He continued, “I’m kind of in one of the happiest moments of my personal life. I have the healthiest relationship I’ve ever had, and I manage to see my family, see my friends, take care of myself … The victory for me now is actually to make my job and my personal life live together and not constantly fight.”
