
Ahead of the release of her new movie, pop star Charli XCX sat down with Conan O’Brien on a new episode of SiriusXM’s “Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend.”
During the episode, Charli discussed starting out in London’s underground rave scene, experiencing pop stardom secondhand before skyrocketing to fame, and highlighting moral complexity in her new mockumentary film, “The Moment.”
The singer-songwriter plays a fictional version of herself in “The Moment,” which premiered on January 25 at the the Sundance Film Festival and will be released in the US on January 30. She recently released three tracks from her soundtrack album for “Wuthering Heights” – “House,” “Chains of Love,” and “Wall of Sound.” The movie, due out on February 13, is writer/director Emerald Fennell’s movie adaptation of Emily Brontë’s 1847 novel and stars Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi.
