Week 5 of the 2023 Big Ten Football season is set to go with a number of conference games on the slate:

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 30

Penn State at Northwestern

12 Noon ET – BTN

The No. 7 Penn State Nittany Lions (4-0) square off against a familiar opponent when they visit the Northwestern Wildcats (2-2) on Saturday at Ryan Field in a Big Ten battle. The Nittany Lions squared off against the Iowa Hawkeyes in their last outing, winning 31-0. Their last time out, the Wildcats won 37-34 over the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

Lousiana at Minnesota

Noon ET – BTN, SiriusXM Big Ten Radio Channel 372

The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns (3-1) visit the Minnesota Golden Gophers (2-2) at Huntington Bank Stadium on Saturday. The Golden Gophers enter the matchup after losing 37-34 to the Northwestern Wildcats in their last outing on September 23. The Ragin’ Cajuns are coming off of a 45-38 win over the Buffalo Bulls.

Michigan at Nebraska

3:30 pm ET – FOX

No. 2 Michigan (4-0) travels to Lincoln to take on the Huskers (2-2) at Memorial Stadium.

Indiana at Maryland

3:30 pm ET – BTN, SiriusXM Big Ten Radio Channel 372

The Maryland Terrapins (4-0) meet a fellow Big Ten foe when they host the Indiana Hoosiers (2-2) on Saturday at SECU Stadium. The Terrapins played the Michigan State Spartans in their last outing, winning 31-9. The Hoosiers’ last game was a 29-27 win over the Akron Zips.

Illinois at Purdue

3:30 pm ET – Peacock

The Purdue Boilermakers (1-3) and the Illinois Fighting Illini (2-2) square off on Saturday at Ross-Ade Stadium in a battle of Big Ten opponents. The Boilermakers head into this matchup following a 38-17 loss to the Wisconsin Badgers in their most recent outing. The Fighting Illini’s last game ended in a 23-17 win over the Florida Atlantic Owls.

Wagner at Rutgers

3:30 pm ET – BTN

Wagner (2-2) travels to Piscataway to take on the Scarlet Knights (3-1).

Michigan State at Iowa

7:30 pm ET – NBC, SiriusXM Big Ten Radio Channel 372

The Iowa Hawkeyes (3-1) and the Michigan State Spartans (2-2) square off on Saturday at Kinnick Stadium in a battle of Big Ten opponents. In their most recent game, the Hawkeyes lost 31-0 to the Penn State Nittany Lions. The Spartans are coming off of a 31-9 loss to the Maryland Terrapins.
