Ahead of its official theatrical release, “Black Panther,” the latest film from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has already broken records for ticket pre-sales, and early reviews have been unanimously favorable.

During an interview with SiriusXM host Sway Calloway, the cast of “Black Panther” got very candid and emotional about how they’ve witnessed the film’s impact first-hand through fans’ reactions all over the world. From female empowerment to Black American equity and the decolonization of African countries, no subject matter was off limits.

Chadwick Boseman, who plays the titular character, was even brought to tears while remembering two young fans who were terminally ill and, unfortunately, died before they were able to see the film.
