Leslie Mann Recalls Nikki Glaser Babysitting Iris Apatow
While discussing questionable babysitting experiences, Mann recalls when comedian Nikki Glaser babysat her and Judd Apatow’s daughters.
Mann remembers looking outside during a gathering and spotting a young Iris Apatow walking around near the pool — without Glaser nearby.
“I was like, ‘Oh my God,’” Mann said, before joking that Glaser may have been busy working on her stand-up set.
Anna Faris Opens Up About Perimenopause and Depression
Faris gets candid about experiencing depression around age 45 as she entered perimenopause.
“I found myself in just this low-grade depression for quite a long time,” Faris said. “Maybe it was even more severe than low-grade at times.”
Faris also discusses hormone patches, getting older, and how her outlook has changed, adding, “I feel so much happier.”
Leslie Mann on Maude and Iris Apatow’s Relationship
Mann also reveals that her daughters weren’t always as close as they are today.
“Iris liked Maude, but Maude didn’t like Iris until Maude was around 18,” Mann said.
Mann explains that Maude initially struggled with having a younger sister who suddenly received so much attention. Today, however, she says Maude and Iris are best friends.
Anna Faris on Filming Spa Weekend After Losing Her Home
Faris also reflects on beginning Spa Weekend just weeks after her home burned down in the Palisades.
“We didn’t have suitcases, we had nothing,” Faris said.
Filming in Australia’s Gold Coast gave Faris and her son Jack a welcome change during an extraordinarily difficult period.
“I needed to laugh,” Faris said. “To see my kid so happy, that meant the world.”
Go Behind the Scenes of Spa Weekend
The cast also shares stories about the physical comedy involved in making the movie — including Mann getting bitten by fire ants and injured by a goat — and Fisher reveals some of the jokes and improvised material that didn’t make the final cut.
