Sophie Turner recently appeared on Radio Andy’s “The Julia Cunningham Show” to discuss Prime Video’s upcoming thriller, “Steal.” During the interview, Sophie also detailed the intense training and extreme security measures behind filming “Tomb Raider.”

“We’ve been doing eight hours a day, five days a week, since February last year of training, so it’s been a lot,” Sophie told Julia.

When asked what the most surprising thing she’s learned about her body during this training is, Sophie said, “I’ve learned I have a perpetual back problem, but I also realized that it’s much easier to kind of build muscle if you’ve ever worked out before in your life, which I never had, so it has taken me months and months and months to get into good shape. That’s what I’ve learned.”

In “Game of Thrones,” Sophie said her character was “the one that got beat up, not the one doing the beating.”

“So, it’s quite nice to learn how to throw a punch and not just take it,” she added.

“The Julia Cunningham Show” hosted by Julia Cunningham is a live, one-hour pop culture and entertainment show airing weekdays at 3pm ET/12pm PT from the SiriusXM LA Studios on Radio Andy (Ch. 102), and anytime on the SiriusXM app.
