“It felt like a violation”
Cohen said he first learned about the leaked audio early in the morning, shortly after taping what he described as one of the most intense reunions in the show’s history.
“When I tell you that I was mad… it felt like a violation,” Andy said.
The reunion itself, filmed the day before, left a lasting impact.
“It was not only one of the most emotional reunions that we’ve ever shot, but one of the most emotionally draining,” he said. “There was deep anger, deep hurt… this situation has truly sent shock waves through this group.”
Andy defends the cast
As the leak spread online, some fans began blaming cast members, something Cohen quickly shut down.
“I immediately was like, the cast did not leak this,” he said, calling those claims “stupid.”
He added that it was frustrating to see cast members feel pressured to publicly deny involvement.
“I felt so bad… that the cast was feeling the need to come out and say, ‘I didn’t do it.’”
Investigation underway
According to Andy, Bravo moved quickly to investigate the source of the leak, bringing in experts to analyze how the audio was recorded and circulated.
“They had investigators… people analyzing what kind of device recorded it,” he said.
In a surprising twist, Cohen revealed that a Bravo fan ultimately helped crack the case, providing key information to the network.
“A Bravo fan came forward… and delivered crucial information,” he said, teasing that more details could emerge.
“Andy Cohen Live” airs Monday through Friday at 10am ET on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy (Ch. 102).
