Shep Rose Almost Texted Amanda Batula Amid ‘Summer House’ Drama
Shep Rose understands just how overwhelming reality TV can be. During an appearance on “Page Six Radio” on Stars on SiriusXM, the “Southern Charm” star revealed he nearly texted Amanda Batula amid the recent “Summer House” drama to offer some perspective.
“I like her,” Shep said. “She’s been nothing but nice to me.”
Shep explained that he wanted to remind Amanda the situation may feel like “the weight of the world,” but it’s ultimately only a small part of life. He decided against sending the message because he didn’t want to insert himself into the situation.
Looking back on his own reality TV experience, Shep admitted the “worst part” of being on television is the constant gossip surrounding cast members. He also suggested that stepping away from “Summer House” could ultimately be a positive move for Amanda, while acknowledging that reality TV “does pay the bills.”
Shep also weighed in on the rumored connection between Kyle Cooke and Sally Carson, saying their opposite personalities could make them a good match.
