During his upcoming appearance on SiriusXM Urban View‘s “The Mike Muse Show,” Pete Buttigieg says the federal government can pursue race-conscious policies fairly.

During the wide-ranging conversation with Mike Muse in front of a live audience, Buttigieg defends programs designed to address racial disparities in areas like small business, education, and veterans’ services.

“I think there’s a fair way to do that,” the former Transportation Secretary says.

Buttigieg also weighs in on reports of a potential U.S.-Saudi nuclear agreement, questioning whether expanding nuclear capabilities in the Middle East would improve regional stability.
