Pearl Jam is back! On Monday, January 13, the band announced their upcoming new album, “Gigaton,” on Pearl Jam Radio. The highly anticipated eleventh studio album — the first since the band’s Grammy Award-winning “Lightning Bolt” in 2013 — is set to be released on Friday, March 27.

On the heels of the announcement, Pearl Jam Radio went live to take calls from fans and get listener reactions during the “Faithfull Forum” call-in show.

In anticipation of “Gigaton,” hear what Stone Gossard had to say about its lead single, “Dance of the Clairvoyants,” below.

Gigaton will be released through Pearl Jam’s own Monkeywrench Records in partnership with Republic Records, featuring production from Pearl Jam and Josh Evans.

“Making this record was a long journey. It was emotionally dark and confusing at times, but also an exciting and experimental road map to musical redemption,” lead guitarist Mike McCready said in a statement. “Collaborating with my bandmates on ‘Gigaton’ ultimately gave me greater love, awareness, and knowledge of the need for human connection in these times.”

The band sets out on Wednesday, March 18, for a 16-date North American tour spanning March and April.
