“I said to my best friend two weeks in — I forgot that I said this to her — and I said, ‘I will know him for the rest of my life.’ It was just an immediate soul connection,” Kirsten Dunst told Radio Andy host Jess Cagle of meeting her husband, Jesse Plemons.

Kirsten explained that the first time she saw Jesse was at the airport when they were both on their way to film the TV show “Fargo” in Calgary. “I still know that image of him in my brain,” she said of their initial meeting almost 10 years ago. “You just know sometimes.”

Kirsten and Jesse joined the cast of “Fargo” in 2015 for its second season, and they both received an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor/Actress In A Limited Series Or Movie. The couple became engaged in 2017 and married in 2022, and they share two children. This year, Kirsten and Jesse co-starred in the dystopian film “Civil War” directed by Alex Garland.
