Kendra Wilkinson Addresses Her Fallout with Holly Madison: ‘I’m Protecting Hef’
Here’s what Wilkinson said about Hugh Hefner, loyalty, and her ongoing struggles with Madison.

These Playboy bunnies have their claws out
Kendra Wilkinson and Holly Madison dated Hugh Hefner at the same time and co-starred on “The Girls Next Door” for six seasons, but their accounts of life inside the Playboy Mansion couldn’t be more different.
Why Kendra and Holly’s Feud Resurfaced
Madison’s 2015 book, “Down the Rabbit Hole,” describes her experience at the Mansion and alleges emotional abuse by Hefner, who was in his late 80s at the time. Wilkinson, however, has pushed back publicly, accusing her former friend of exaggeration and bad faith. She doubled down in tweets on Thursday night, calling Madison a “bitch” in response to a new interview with PEOPLE magazine. (Wilkinson has since deleted the messages.)
‘I’m Protecting Hef’: What Kendra Said On-Air
“I’m protecting the reason I’m here. I’m protecting Hef, I’m protecting myself, I’m protecting the things that actually made us famous. I’m very appreciative, and I’m very loyal, and he did no wrong. He did no wrong to anyone, and if he did, you know I would be here telling you,” Wilkinson, 30, said Friday on Mad Dog Sports Radio’s “Morning Men” with Evan Cohen and Mike Babchik. “If I felt for once that he treated us unkind in any way, I would be here defending Holly. But I’m not.”

Looking Back on the Playboy Mansion Years
The mom of two said she has no regrets about her “fun” time with Hefner, though she joked that she, Madison, and Bridget Marquardt were “prostitutes” who exchanged sex for an allowance and lavish gifts.
‘Dirty, Sexy, Funny’ with Jenny McCarthy
“I love him to death, and I appreciate everything he’s done for me,” she told Jenny McCarthy on “Dirty, Sexy, Funny.” “He’s done zero harm in my eyes to anyone that I’ve ever seen, and his intentions were only to make everyone happy. It was just the woman’s choice to be there and f— him. That’s it. I mean, that was everybody’s choice. What do you think you’re going to do? You’re moving into the Playboy Mansion and dating a man who has multiple girlfriends.”
Kendra on Accountability, Loyalty, and Regret
Of her scandalous past, Wilkinson said, “I’m embarrassed about it. I’m not going to lie. But I’m not going to sit here and run from it. You have to forgive every second. Hef did nothing wrong, but I made the choice to sleep with an 80-year-old man for some money, and I’m here to say that. But I ended up loving him at the end of the day, that’s the thing. I just choose to remain loyal to Hef.”
Can They Make Peace?
Wilkinson also stopped by “Wake Up with Taylor,” saying Madison should “refund” Hefner for how he pampered her and that she’s unsuccessfully tried to meet up to hash things out.
“I actually had an open letter saying I would be open to talking about this; we kind of owe it to ourselves,” she said. “I’m the type of person, if I see you and I see your eyes and I see the way you talk to me, I’ll feel some sort of sympathy for you, and I’ll ride for you. If I feel you, I’ll end up riding for you. I would fight for her if I felt like she was being honest, but she’s running from me.”
“Morning Men” airs weekdays from 6–10am ET on Mad Dog Sports Radio. “Wake Up with Taylor” airs weekdays from 7–10am ET, and “Dirty, Sexy, Funny” with Jenny McCarthy airs weekdays from 10am–12pm ET, both on Stars.
