On today’s episode of Radio Andy’s “Andy Cohen Live,” Andy Cohen recapped his exclusive one-on-one interview with Karen Huger on the Season 10 finale of “The Real Housewives of Potomac.”
“I was reading the comments online, and I think that the opinions that almost matter the most in a weird way besides the viewers is the other Potomac Housewives, hearing from Karen and Gizelle, who’ve known her for so long and who have been on her ass for so long, hearing from them, they were saying, ‘Wow, we didn’t expect Karen to show this much vulnerability and show this much ownership,’” Andy said.
“And she said that she had multiple problems,” he continued. “She said it was mixing prescription medication with alcohol. So I think the reason she wasn’t ready to say that she was an alcoholic was it seemed to me that she was masking her pain with prescription medication and antidepressants for years… and she said she was so unhappy in her own life that she was trying to run away. And the way that she was running running away was by then mixing alcohol with the prescription medication. That to me was a lot to admit.”
