Andy Cohen Debunks NeNe Leakes’ ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Return, Other Season 18 Rumors
“There are a lot of casting rumors online… and I’m gonna tell you that they’re not true,” Andy said on his SiriusXM show.
Rumors about “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 18 cast have been swirling online, but Andy Cohen says fans shouldn’t believe them.
During today’s episode of Radio Andy’s “Andy Cohen Live,” Andy addressed speculation that former Housewife NeNe Leakes would return and that current cast member Shamea Morton Mwangi had been fired, making it clear the reports are false.
“There are a lot of casting rumors online, which came out over the weekend, and I’m gonna tell you that they’re not true,” Andy said.
He also encouraged fans looking for clues about next season to simply look at the current cast.
“If you want a preview of next season of Atlanta, look at this cast,” Andy said. “This is the group, guys. I mean, we love this group.”
Andy added that he had a great time filming the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion and said viewers can already get a sense of the season’s energy from the recently released reunion teaser.
“So spoiler alert, we’re very happy,” Andy said. “As you can see from the reunion, I was very happy as the day went on.”
