There’s a lot more to see in The Terminal List universe.

Chris Pratt, Constance Wu, Tom Hooper, Gabriel Luna and, Dar Salim sat down for an interview on Shade 45’s CTRL, ALT, D-Stroy, on October 22, and revealed what it would take for the Prime series to be picked up for season three, following the release of the highly-anticipated second season.

“I think success in this season would certainly be helpful to continue to tell these stories,” Chris—who plays Navy SEAL James Reece—told D-Stroy. “I know that we would love to. There’s nothing official yet, but man we have a lot of ideas. I know we love playing these characters and telling these stories. So, if there’s an audience for it, we’d love to continue serving that audience. Cause, I think this is the most rewarding job I’ve ever been on.”

Season 2 of the Prime series dropped on October 21, and aside from increased viewership, Chris shared that the audience seeing the team’s hard work and dedication to telling the story about Navy SEALs would be the biggest reward.

“For us, at least for me, I can say the journey getting there, building these relationships forging these friendships, creating true bonds in the crucible of sweat and sickness and illness and travel and sacrifice,” the Marvel star said. “All of that stuff to me is the biggest takeaway. So, I would love to continue to do this. An audience would probably help, but hell I would do this if no one was watching.”

A large base of those watching are real-life veterans, who according to Chris, is the reason why there are actual veterans—including series producer and star Jared Shaw—on set.

“It’s really cool,” Chris exclaimed. “Cause’ ultimately when making this show as a way to honor these men who have served our country, who have put on the uniform and sacrificed so much. These highly skilled, dangerous operatives that are just true machines, not superheroes, real human beings that are just skilled, they are our audience. So having that authenticity come from someone who can say, sniff our inauthenticity in a way that maybe I can’t or the typical person can’t, is really paramount to that.”

The on-screen risk is worth the reward and praise that he hears from the men and women of the armed forces.

“I get that all the time,” he shared. “Where a veteran will come up to me and say, ‘Hey, I want you to know that means so much to me. Like the fog of war elements, the combat the tactics. You guys really cared enough to try and get that right and it’s very meaningful.’”

The Terminal List is now streaming on Prime video.
