Chris Hogan Praises Tom Brady’s Work Ethic After Touchdown at Buffalo
“I was happy to go back there, a place that I played a lot of football at, and get a win,” the Patriots receiver told SiriusXM.

Chris Hogan has the best seat in the house to witness the greatness that is Tom Brady.
As a receiver for the New England Patriots, Hogan not only gets to catch Brady’s passes during a game (like the 53-yard touchdown Hogan had against his former team, the Buffalo Bills, last Sunday) but he also gets to see what the quarterback does each week to get ready to play.
“It’s amazing to me,” Hogan told Jeff Rickard and Kirk Morrison on “The SiriusXM Blitz” on SiriusXM NFL Radio. “For a guy that’s been in this league for so long, and just to see him go about his work like it’s his first day … His professionalism is second to none, and just the way that he goes about preparing each week. I learn a lot every single year that I’m in the league from different guys and how they go about their different types of routines that they get on and how they watch film and all that kind of stuff.”
He added, “Just sitting there in the meetings with Tom and watching him and how he goes about his business, and watching film with him, just the way that he sees things has helped me, and I’ve learned a lot from him, really, just being with him through these past couple months.”
Hogan couldn’t have been more ecstatic to catch a scoring pass in his second game against the Bills since leaving them after last season to sign with the Patriots as a restricted free agent.
“It was awesome,” he said. “It was a great thing for us, a great team win. They came up to New England earlier in the season, and they beat us. We knew we were going to have to go up there and play four quarters of football. And I was happy to go back there, a place that I played a lot of football at, and get a win. I couldn’t have scripted that one any better.”
