Friday, September 8th

Indiana State at Indiana

Illinois at Kansas

7:30 pm ET – ESPN 2

The Kansas Jayhawks (1-0) host the Illinois Fighting Illini (1-0) at David Booth Memorial Stadium (Lawrence, KS) on Friday, September 8, 2023.

In their most recent outing, the Jayhawks won 48-17 over the Missouri State Bears. Last time out, the Fighting Illini won 30-28 over the Toledo Rockets.

Saturday, September 9th

Youngstown State at Ohio State

Delaware at Penn State

Nebraska at Colorado

The No. 25 Colorado Buffaloes (1-0) play the Nebraska Cornhuskers (0-1) at Folsom Field in a battle of two former Big 12 rivals. In their last game, the Buffaloes beat the TCU Horned Frogs 45-42. Their last time out, the Cornhuskers lost 13-10 to the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

Purdue at Virginia Tech

12 Noon ET – ESPN2

The Virginia Tech Hokies (1-0) host the Purdue Boilermakers (0-1) at Lane Stadium. The Hokies enter the matchup after winning 36-17 over the Old Dominion Monarchs in their last game. Their last time out, the Boilermakers lost 39-35 to the Fresno State Bulldogs.

Iowa at Iowa State

2:30 pm ET – FOX

Iowa travels to Ames to take on in-state rival Iowa State this Saturday for the 70th meeting of the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series. The Hawkeyes have won six of the last seven Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series matchups over Iowa State. Iowa has won the last five games in Ames dating back to 2013, including a 27-17 victory over the ninth-ranked Cyclones in 2021. The five wins have come by an average of 6.8 points and two of the victories have been by three points or less. A win would give head coach Kirk Ferentz his 200th career victory, becoming just the 24 Division I coach to reach the 200-win mark.

UNLV at Michigan

3:30 pm ET – CBS

The No. 2 Michigan Wolverines (1-0) take on the UNLV Rebels (1-0) at Michigan Stadium. The Wolverines head into this matchup following a 30-3 win over the East Carolina Pirates in their most recent outing. The Rebels’ last game was a 44-14 win over the Bryant Bulldogs.

Richmond at Michigan State

UTEP at Northwestern

3:30 pm ET – BTN

The UTEP Miners (1-1) and the Northwestern Wildcats (0-1) square off at Ryan Field. The Miners defeated the Incarnate Word Cardinals 28-14 in their most recent outing. The Wildcats’ last game ended in a 24-7 loss to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights

Charlotte at Maryland

The Maryland Terrapins (1-0) play the Charlotte 49ers (1-0) at SECU Stadium. The Terrapins enter this matchup after a 38-6 win over the Towson Tigers in their most recent outing. The 49ers’ last game ended in a 24-3 win over the South Carolina State Bulldogs.

Temple at Rutgers

7:30 pm ET – BTN

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights (1-0) meet the Temple Owls (1-0) at SHI Stadium. In their last game, the Scarlet Knights won 24-7 over the Northwestern Wildcats. The Owls are coming off of a 24-21 win over the Akron Zips.

Wisconsin at Washington State

7:30 pm ET – ABC, SiriusXM Big Ten Radio

The No. 19 Wisconsin Badgers (1-0) and the Washington State Cougars (1-0) play at Martin Stadium. The Badgers knocked off the Buffalo Bulls 38-17 in their last game. The Cougars are coming off of a 50-24 win over the Colorado State Rams.

Eastern Michigan at Minnesota

7:30 pm ET – BTN

The Eastern Michigan Eagles (1-0) visit the Minnesota Golden Gophers (1-0) at Huntington Bank Stadium. The Golden Gophers knocked off the Nebraska Cornhuskers 13-10 in their last game. The Eagles are coming off of a 33-23 win over the Howard Bison.
