Wiz Khalifa Clears the Air on Kanye #KK Beef: ‘I would Never Go Out of My Way to Disrespect Anyone’
Khalifa explained exactly what happened to Shade 45’s DJ Whoo Kid.
Just in case you were living under a rock last week (or on vacation smoking dubes on a tropical island away from all mass communication), Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa got into a Twitter war. Then, Kanye and Wiz’s mutual ex, Amber Rose, got involved.
Originally, Wiz referenced #KK in a tweet, which he has since clarified refers to a strain of weed called “Khalifa Kush,” but which West took to be a reference to his wife Kim Kardashian’s initials. That spiraled into the Twitter version of a schoolyard name-calling battle.
But after the feud seemed to go as far as it could go, Rose and Kardashian had “tea,” and the men exchanged “my bads” — all of which Khalifa laid out to Shade 45’s DJ Whoo Kid.
“We have a lot of mutual friends … [#KK] was weed … I would never go out of my way to disrespect anybody,” Khalifa said.
