Scott Eastwood Clarifies His Wolverine Comments: ‘I Would Be Honored’

He’s got all the makings of a Wolverine. So, will Hugh Jackman be passing the role on to Clint Eastwood’s son, Scott Eastwood?

SiriusXM Stars host Michelle Collins asked the actor to clarify his comments to Screen Rant last week about being “100 percent” down for the X-Men role.

“These things get put up online, sort of fan art. It wasn’t something that I’ve been saying I want to play,” Eastwood explained. “He’s an iconic character. I would be honored to even be considered for that.”

Despite Eastwood’s “steely-ness” and luscious hair, the “Pacific Rim Uprising” star says he isn’t on deck to play Wolverine… but we’re keeping our fingers crossed.
