As Pete Townshend prepares to pick up his guitar and perform with Roger Daltrey as The Who for the first time since 2017, both rock icons sat down with SiriusXM host Mark Goodman for an exclusive Town Hall airing on Classic Vinyl. They talked about their Moving On! Tour, recording their upcoming album, the meaning behind their classic hit “Behind Blue Eyes,” and more.
“It’s not about us. It’s not about boys with blue eyes,” Townshend said of the 1971 song. “It’s actually about a character in a story.”
