Bruce Springsteen is ready to return to the glory days of live performances, detailing his 2023 U.S. tour with The E Street Band.

In late May, the music legend announced in an interview on his exclusive SiriusXM channel, E Street Radio (Ch. 20), that The E Street Band will embark on an extensive international tour in 2023 — marking the band’s first live concerts together since 2017.

“I’m just aching to play,” Springsteen told E Street Radio host Jim Rotolo. “And to actually not just play, but to travel and see our fans in all our different cities and feel that life again and see their faces again.”

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will launch the tour in early February 2023 in U.S. arenas. The band will then head to Europe in late April, followed by a second North American tour leg starting in late August. The planned European stops are Barcelona, Dublin, Paris, Ferrara, Rome, Amsterdam, Landgraff, Zurich, Brussels, Leipzig, Gothenburg, Oslo, Copenhagen, Munich, Hamburg and Monchengladbach. Multiple shows in the U.K. will be announced later.

During the interview, Springsteen mentioned that he plans on performing a mix of his classics and recent material. While he didn’t reveal specific songs, he did promise we should expect a “full-tilt rock ‘n’ roll show.”
