Daddy Deadpool? Ryan Reynolds Reveals the ‘Deadpool 2’ Scene He Scrapped

Ryan Reynolds says “Deadpool 2” is “a family film, wrapped in an insane rated-R comic book movie.”

While filming with that perfect, weird combo in mind, Reynolds says they scrapped a joke that “went a little too dark” and a draft that had Deadpool as a dad.

“By page two-and-a-half, we realized that’s a terrible idea,” he told SiriusXM host Jess Cagle. “We just completely burned those pages and turned them into toilet paper.”
