When the Memphis Grizzlies walk into their players’ lounge, they are reminded of Martin Luther King Jr. and the indelible impact he made and continues to make throughout the world.
According to head coach David Fizdale, the message of Dr. King guides the Grizzlies organization every single day.
“Dr. King’s message of service and being selfless, putting others before you, it really is a part of who we are,” Fizdale said. “What Dr. King has preached is really a part of our fabric.”
