Luke Combs Announces ‘Baby Boy #2 Coming This September’

Luke Combs recently announced two big things happening in his life: a new album out on Friday and a second baby boy due in September!

“Joining the 2 under 2 club!” Luke wrote in the caption of an Instagram post. “Baby boy #2 coming this September!!” The post featured a montage of photos of Luke, his wife Nicole, and their nine-month-old Tex (proudly sporting a “big brother” shirt).

“I would have the audio turned on for this post if I was y’all…” Luke added in a comment, because the Instagram post is set to brand new music — “Take You with Me,” a song about parenthood, which is one of the 18 tracks coming on Friday’s new album, Gettin’ Old. The only other songs off of the album fans have heard so far are the first single, “Going, Going, Gone,” and the most recent release, “5 Leaf Clover.”

Luke and Nicole began dating in 2016, becoming engaged two years later and then marrying in August 2020. They welcomed Tex Lawrence Combs last Father’s Day, June 19, 2022. The name Tex comes from Luke’s great uncle, and Lawrence is Nicole’s father’s name. The boys will only be about 15 months apart when the baby is born this fall.
