Anne Marie Chaker is a professional bodybuilder and veteran journalist who brings unique perspectives on women, strength, and health. During her 27-year career at The Wall Street Journal, she was a member of the newsroom that was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for coverage of the September 11 attacks. Over the next two decades, Anne Marie covered a wide range of topics, including education, politics, health, wellness, leadership, and careers, with her stories frequently topping the Journal most-read lists. Her 2020 article about her midlife journey into professional bodybuilding went viral, earning her a book deal with Penguin Random House. “LIFT: How Women Can Reclaim Their Power and Transform Their Lives” hit shelves nationwide in June 2025 and is available wherever books are sold.
