Lady A Members Reveal They Want to Rerecord ‘Need You Now’ in New Interview
“There will be a time we do ‘the 20-year’ of ‘Need You Now’ or whatever it might be,” Charles Kelley says on The Highway.
During a new interview with Cody Alan on The Highway, Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley, and Dave Haywood of the country trio Lady A look back on the success of “Need You Now” (2009) and reveal that they want to pay homage to the iconic hit and their other songs down the road – possibly by rerecording them.
“There will be a time we do ‘the 20-year’ of ‘Need You Now’ or whatever it might be,” Charles Kelley says. “We’ve kicked around some of those ideas of rerecording some of those songs, maybe even do some features.”
