I Prevail is gearing up for the release of their debut, full-length album, “Lifelines” (due out October 21 from Fearless Records). In anticipation of the new effort, the band gave Octane listeners an exclusive first listen of their new single, “Stuck In Your Head,” during Grant Random’s morning show.

“‘Stuck In Your Head’ is a final send-off to a bad relationship,” explained singer Brian Burkheiser. “I had reached my breaking point, and the similarity of a worn and damaged record was all I could compare this relationship to. I had to write about it, but it couldn’t be an emotional breakup song. It had to be straightforward, aggressive, and in your face. That’s exactly how I felt at the time. You lost me, and you’ll regret it.”

You can hear “Stuck in Your Head” streaming below and in rotation on Octane.

Physical pre-orders of the new album are available now, and digital pre-orders will be available on August 12. Anyone who pre-orders the record will receive an instant download of “Stuck In Your Head” as well as the recently released single, “Scars.”

Don’t forget to catch the band on tour through mid-October in a city near you.
