In their recent clash with Mississippi State, the No. 11 Crimson Tide showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball, securing a convincing 40-17 victory.

Quarterback Jalen Milroe led the charge, tallying 238 total yards, while running backs Jase McClellan and Roydell Williams combined for 107 rushing yards.

Defensively, Alabama was equally impressive, amassing three interceptions, eight tackles for loss, and even a touchdown.

Jihaad Campbell‘s standout performance, with 14 tackles and an interception, set the tone for a stifling defense that limited the Bulldogs to just 261 total yards.

Home: Texas A&M Aggies

The Aggies, on the other hand, showcased their special teams brilliance when senior WR Ainias Smith returned an 82-yard punt for a touchdown, marking his second special teams touchdown of his career. He finished the game with a career-high 131 punt return yards and 71 receiving yards, totaling an impressive 202 all-purpose yards.

Sophomore RB Le’Veon Moss had a breakout performance, recording his first 100-yard rushing game with 107 yards on 17 carries.

Quarterback Max Johnson displayed his versatility with an A&M career-high 210 passing yards and 57 rushing yards.

The Aggies’ defense was also relentless, with senior LB Edgerrin Cooper notching 2.0 sacks and 3.0 tackles for loss.

Senior LB Chris Russell Jr. added a defensive touchdown, marking the team’s first defensive score of 2023.
