Headlining the first night of Boston Calling Music Festival, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band Foo Fighters are set to reunite on stage for the first time since their September tribute shows for late drummer Taylor Hawkins.

Along with fellow headliners the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Foo Fighters will kick off the festival’s long weekend takeover of the Harvard Athletic Complex on May 26. Saturday headliners include The Lumineers and Alanis Morissette, followed by Sunday headliners Paramore and Queens of the Stone Age.

Three-day general admission tickets start at $299 + fees. Tickets go on sale January 12 at 10am ET.

Part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s inductee Class of 2021, Foo Fighters cancelled their 2022 Boston Calling set upon Hawkins’ passing. Last month, the surviving members confirmed in a statement that the band would continue on without Hawkins.

“As we say goodbye to the most difficult and tragic year that our band has ever known, we are reminded how thankful we are for the people that we love and cherish most, and for the loved ones who are no longer with us,” the statement read. “Foo Fighters were formed 27 years ago to represent the healing power of music and continuation of life … Without Taylor, we never would have become the band that we were — and without Taylor, we know that we’re going to be a different band going forward … And we know that when we see you again — and we will soon — he’ll be there in spirit with all of us every night.”

Also just announced, Foo Fighters will headline Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival in Columbus, OH, on May 28 and Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, TN, on June 18.
