“Love Island USA” star Dylan Wrona is setting the record straight after some viewers accused him of being “performative” during emotional moments with Kenzie.
Speaking with Harry Jowsey on the latest episode of Unwell’s “Boyfriend Material,” Dylan pushed back on claims that he “fake cried” after seeing footage of Kenzie during Movie Night.
“If I could actually fake crying, I wouldn’t be here,” Dylan said. “I’d probably be actually acting somewhere.”
He explained that revisiting the footage after developing real feelings for Kenzie brought back emotions in a different way, adding that seeing the moments play out again “felt different” because of the connection they had built.
Dylan also said reality TV doesn’t always capture the full context of conversations, revealing that some of his sweeter comments about what he looks for in a partner never made the final edit.
