Demi Lovato Confirms Report of Tour Being Evacuated Was Fabricated
“It literally turned out to be made up by TMZ,” she told SiriusXM Hits 1.

Demi Lovato stopped by the “Morning Mash Up” on Wednesday to talk about touring with Nick Jonas, her sexy new single, “Body Say,” and the debunked report that the singers’ New Jersey concert had to be evacuated on Tuesday because of a suspicious package with a microwave inside.
“It literally turned out to be made up by TMZ. They fabricated the entire thing. Nothing ever happened,” the pop star said. “I went online and saw that, and I was like, ‘Oh, news to me,’ so I asked my security. He was like, ‘Literally, TMZ made that up.'”
“I was just thinking someone wanted some popcorn while they were enjoying your show!” host Nicole Ryan joked.
Although Lovato said being the center of false rumors “comes with the territory” of her career, she said she usually ignores the gossip.
“I just block it out, ’cause even with the microwave thing, it’s like, I would laugh at it, but it’s not even funny,” she said. “I’m just gonna block it out because it’s so absurd.”
Hear the “Morning Mash Up” weekdays from 6 am to 12 pm ET on SiriusXM Hits 1.
