In case you missed it, David Draiman and Benjamin Burnley stopped by Kayla Riley’s show on Octane to announce some pretty big news this morning: Disturbed and Breaking Benjamin are hitting the road together this summer, along with Alter Bridge and Saint Asonia.

To celebrate the joint tour — which hits 25 cities in North America, including St. Louis, Detroit, Toronto, D.C., New York City, and Houston — the two frontmen took over the channel for an hour. David played his favorite Breaking Benjamin songs, Ben played his favorite Disturbed songs, and they both played their favorite Alter Bridge and Saint Asonia tracks.

“I’ve been a huge Disturbed fan ever since before there was even a Breaking Benjamin,” Burnley told Kayla. “So it’s a very surreal moment for me to be here right now. I don’t know if I’ll get used to it. I hope I do, but I might not. I’m just really looking forward to it a lot, like a kid anxious on Christmas. I’m all stoked and pumped up for it, and [now] I’ve gotta wait.”

Additionally, Draiman and Burnley thanked Octane listeners for their support throughout the years for not only their respective bands but for the genre as a whole.

“We love you guys,” Burnley said. “Thank you so much for all of the support that you’ve shown all of us over all of these years. We owe a lot to you guys, even us being able to be sitting here.”

Draiman added, “You guys are pioneers, and the entire genre owes you a debt of gratitude.”

You can hear the whole thing again on Octane on February 9 at 12pm ET; February 10 at 11am and 9pm ET; February 11 at 3pm ET, February 12 at 8pm ET, and February 13 at 2pm ET.

Tickets go on sale starting February 26.
