The Volunteers are coming off a strong 2-0 start to their season, with a convincing 30-13 victory over the Austin Peay Governors in their last outing. Quarterback Joe Milton showcased his skills, going 21/33 for 228 yards and 2 touchdowns, with no interceptions. Jaylen Wright led the rushing attack with an impressive 118 yards on 13 carries.

Tennessee’s offense has been firing on all cylinders, averaging 39.5 points per game and ranking 4th in the nation in rushing yards with an average of 257.5 per game. They’ve totaled 955 yards this season, distributing their touchdowns evenly between passing and rushing, with 4 passing touchdowns and 6 on the ground.

On the other side, the Florida Gators enter the matchup with a 1-1 record, following a commanding 49-7 win over the McNeese State Cowboys in their last game. Running back Montrell Johnson was a standout performer, rushing for 119 yards at an impressive 7.9 yards per attempt. Quarterback Graham Mertz had a fantastic game, throwing for 193 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions.

The Gators’ offense has been solid, averaging 453.0 yards per game, with 170.0 coming from their rushing attack. While their defense has allowed 151 rushing yards per game, they’ve been successful in keeping their opponents to an average of 15.5 points per game.
