Anna Kendrick Calls Zac Efron a ‘Very Muscular Teddy Bear’

The actress can empathize with “Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates” costar Zac Efron’s fervent fan base, saying Tuesday on “Dirty, Sexy, Funny” with Jenny McCarthy, “He’s just so sweet I could actually scream. I just like want to put him in a baby stroller. I just want to —”
“Breastfeed him?” joked McCarthy, 43. “Maybe not that part.”
“Well… ” Kendrick allowed, laughing. “Yeah, he’s just like this little teddy bear, but very muscular. Very muscular teddy bear.”
Kendrick, 30, also revealed that the movie’s plot is based on real brothers who sought plus-ones on Craigslist. And when the men came to visit the set, she played her wild part a little too well.
“Across a crowded lobby, I was like, ‘Get your dicks out!'” she recalled. “Because they are very tall, very attractive, and we were so deep into filming the movie that my character had taken over, and it’s a very raunchy, fun comedy, and I was like, ‘I don’t know what just happened to me. I’m not really the person who yells profanity across a hotel lobby, but, yeah, that just happened.”
“You got method, that’s all,” McCarthy said.
“Yeah, that’s all,” Kendrick quipped. “I’m very Daniel Day-Lewis.”
